Our First Christmas in our new house

O Christmas the day when you stay late getting everything done perfectly and take picture of how cute your front room and tree look before the paper exposed all over the room the next morning. So after almost six year of marriage and two children add to that. We have never opened presents just us our little family. We always been blessed to be with the rest of our family Dowdle or Bowler side we never been a lone, just us in our house to have our own Christmas. So this year when we stayed home and we didn't all sleep over at my in laws I was so pumped because I been wanting a Christmas where it was just us to add the traditions of each family we want to carry on but I didn't want to get o dark hundred I wanted to sleep in a bit. Although we still had to get up and meet the Burton's for breakfast at there house I still wanted to sleep in a bit.

This what all look like night before we opened presents also we didn't keep the front room this way we changed not to long after Christmas day, but for now look at all those present oooo aaaaahhh.

Well sleep in I thought after staying my putting the last of everything that need to be rapped or picked up for our old home.An after we got Emma bike put together. She may not be able to ride it just yet because it need a little air in the tires and the train wheels are little. But it's like stationary bike for now good practices till we get a helmet anyway.  So sleep didn't come to us Emma woke up with a horrible tummy yack that keep Kern and I tag teaming each other to try and claim her down. Kern even gave her a blessing and we were trying hard to get her to stay in her own bed. But like any small child when sick mommy and daddy's bed is the best place to sleep. So she got in bed with us at 3am after we tried to go to bed at 12am.

We woke not to our Emma jumping on the bed saying it was time to get up or JJ calling from the other room. We woke up to the phone yes that right. The Phone my dad was calling to see if we were a wake and how the children loved there bikes. Well we told about or nightly fun and that we weren't a wake. I could hear my Mom" see Bart I told you they weren't a wake yet." That made us laugh and so because I okay ed most the Christmas cleaning the night before we got to get straight to the present here is the crazy morning.

Fuzzy why this looks fuzzy I don't know but here are the christmas we opened Christmas Eve.

Well I forgot to show how we got to this point we opened the present at Grandma Becky's on Christmas Eve that where they got the PJ and some speacil toys from her.

 

 

 

 

Why is it when you ask them to show you there present they have to hold up in front of there faces. The headless children are Ella stand and Emma kneeling down.

Kern getting his PJ from me I didn't get picture of it but ever year we been married we my family Bowler and Dowdle have gotten him funny shirts that have quote on them that remind us of him. This one said " You don't have to be CRAZY to work here they'll Train YOU!"

JJ not wanting to opening anything else he wanted to play with his airplane out his stocking and eat all the candy in there for Breakfast. So sad still we let him know he could open more it kind of helped.

 

Emma's really not happy about opening cloths when she dieing to open her bike. She know it was bike the smarty pants and she wanted to do it right then GRRRR!!

 

 

 

Now the big moment the opening of the bike final is all Emma could say, There are other pictures but we decied we would cut to the chase for you all also.

Now it's JJ turn, we put Emma picture first but JJ opened his bike then Emma.

 

 

JJ and his bike that plays song sings and talks to you. There is no off button Kern wanted to take the battier out it after two days. Well that didn't happen and it's still going strong and it is loud but it dosen't bother me.

Next was my turn Kern has asked me about a few thing I wanted and just got them I had no idea I got house I really didn't want anything. But I always have trouble getting things for me. So this why I am so surprised.

                             

Now it's Kern turn, yes these two are black male picture but, wanted to get him a fun toy and he got them for himself the stinker so got the fun pictures instead. I only got to get the PJ which are fun but I really wanted to surprise him like he did me.

Here are toys he got for himself a new dvd player which was kind for the whole family. But the helicoptor was all his. The Fajita maker was a gift from Nick and Chris so he got to open that also.

So in a nutshell that was Christmas Emma and JJ both got new Christmas but we haven't chance to even take picture of them in it because we a rushing to church or rushing to get to a family dinner after church and they come right off. So I will show them opening them and picture of them wearing them in front of our new house and how looks now that we are pretty much moved in. We just need to hang picture, but then Kern was thinking of painting so are walls may still be bear. An I show JJ first home hair cut and how he is need of another one. Cookies and Trying to Move makes a Big Mess

So here we are trying to move but Christmas coming so I feel the itch to bake. An we have started the traditions of doing a ginger bread house ever year as family. With the In-laws or by our selves. Well we got to the sugar cookies and with all the help I had with packing and making just these we decide we may do a valentine ginger bread house instead.  Although I feel we made bigger messy trying to get everything out to pack and bake the cookies the moments I shared with my two little ones are unforgettable.  SO frist here are the wonderful little cookies maker then I show are fun of helping mommy pack and unpack at our NEW HOUSE!!

Don't love the flour you can never get enough flour on in your hair it's the best way to have fun making cookies. That is why whenever I start cooking and my children ask what I am doing? I o,making a mess.

Wow cookies, now how do the taste?

Well I think JJ likes the cookies ok, but the frosting is the best part. What do you think?

Emma like the dough best so did her toy tiger. Don't worry these cookies that they made all by them selves were not put in with ones give a way because they tiger help Emma make those and she did eat some dough. I am saying this for all your germ worries like me and more so Edie Arentz.

On the wonderful world of box and more box and do they stop no they keep going and some got packed and packed again. Then when got to the New House they were unpacked repacked it was such a fun game.

This was the start on living room and after having to repack some box a few before I got tape. We put them on the table it help for a little bit.

Emma saw me writing on the box and thought I need hemp know what to write so she made sign so I wouldn't for get what to write. As you can see that already has the address and etc on she just didn't want me to forget.  So helpful !

The day after we moved the 1st big load all got dumped in are front room which when walk in is to the right.

If you turn Left here is are Kitchen looks less box filled because it's so small and look at my new refrigerate cool Hun.

Up stair, yes we have three sets of stairs, well four if you count the ones that are outside to get in the house. So go up the stairs inside and they lead to the bedrooms, to the left is JJ and Emma room. Not the best view of there room I know I will get better one soon.

A cross the hall the Master bed room  big enough to fit all our bedroom set in there once we get all set up.For now matters on the floor not so bad.

Now down one set of stairs is the computer library room family room we planing on making. Why you may ask well all those white books in the picture are books. Mine and my husband and JJ and Emma have to box other own. So were going to put up some shelves for a library some day.

This the other half of the room. It the biggest in the house that why it's the family room and it also has own time out corner already picked out see Emma decided to show which one it is.

Next right off that room is my Laundry room. Yes I have a Laundry room it's not that big but look I already have washer and dryer to go in it. There so nice and so much bigger then the ones we used in the house we rented. And there mine YES!!!!

Down the last set of stair. To the right is the toy some day a bed room of one of children. I know all views just from the door but do think I wanted to go in there. The toys were the first thing to get packed up that we used everyday so when they were allow back again they get go all over the room. That ok that the toy room so the mess is keep to one room and not the whole house.

Then to the left the other downstairs bed room and storage room. It doesn't have much in it, right now because well all the box are every where else till we decied what is going down in here. Then we need to go back thought and put stuff out in are really big shed in the back yard.

That if for now more coming soon like how Emma wanted are Christmas tree to have stuff animals all over for this year not the other stuff we had as she called it. Also JJ and his love for new winter hat and  craziness of opening all the gifts we had. We had so much thanks to our family help.
