Adventurer's Of All Kinds, The Silly And The Thankful Kind

Well here we are again fall in Saint George. Which is wonderful and very warm. An it's still really green Halloween has come and gone and the leaves have just turned enough to call it fall. But even with that being the case, my little ones loved Halloween. Emma was are little princess who sadly broke her crown again after I had fix it. So last minute that day we made a crown of pipe cleaners and beads it turned out quit good. She loved it anyway. Then are JJ was just going to be a pumpkin till Kern said keep the shirt and make a sign that say Welcome Great Pumpkin so he could be Lean's . Which fit perfectly because he has been draging his blue cuddle blanket every where he goes. So he was quit the hit at the party.

At party they had dinner but Emma wasn't wanting food she wanted to the dough on string game. Which was really funny to watch. they little dough so it made it that much harder to get them as you can see . But JJ didn't want to eat of the string he just wanted to eat he keep trying to pull it off for Emma. So here she tried to get and he tried grabbing it with his hand and it swing a way from them both. Then it was mommy and daddy turn o joy . I wasn't in the mood to do it but are friend the yost said they would do it if we would so we did.

We got are dough about the same time. All though Kern would said that he won and he didn't not quit.

So they told us to kiss and make up I started giggling I am not one to kiss in front of people never was. So he had to deep me and make me turn bright red. This after we came out the kiss. It was still a really good night best Halloween ever I think.

Last but not least at the end of the night we had to go get candy to give to ticker treater. It was the first time we would be home to give candy a way normal we are still at party or in Boston. So here is my chance a corner JJ. May be he will final be happy and not scream when I try caught just him a lone as Lean's the Great pumpkin believer. No such luck

This are earlier try to get him alone he throw himself on the floor and started to cry so I had Emma take this one of the two of us. So sad but so cute.

Emma on the other hand always love to be center of it all. Here she is as  a Fair-princess.

Then she had to be a hula dancer for just little bit that night after the party to see what was like to be like here mommy. She is so cute. JJ is trying to smile, he is mad that she go to wear my costume and he didn't because he keep trying to pull the flowers off the neck less all evening long.

Now for the thankful part of our Adventures, we are blessed here to go and see the Jubilee of Trees ever year as family. Last year we made a tree for our Nana. This year we got to have just enjoy the trees, here are our favorite starting with JJ tree.

He jumped right out the stroller when he saw this one it was the train. He loves trains.

Emma's Favorite is next. She loved this because of the stars and we are learning a primary Christmas song that begins with stars are g liming.

This was Kern Favorite next are Nana which was as he said " Very Elegant and Classic".

He liked this because the picture and special moment caught in each of them.

This was my Favorite because as ward we just had Hula party. The thyme was Christmas in Hawaii. The Y.W.and the primary girls dances and so did the R.S sister I was one of them it was great fun.

This one if my brothers were there I think they all would loved. I wish that it didn't turn out so dark. It is the Pirates of the Caribbean Tree it was so cool.

 

Santa stuck in  the chimney is for my Dad. He would always joke when we were little and still believed in Santa he would get stuck in our fire places or on roof on reach year if he wasn't careful. Like he was trying to caught him or something. 

Candy Land our favorite game for christmas last year and over all the most favorite of my children and me. We play candy land all most everyday, and when I was about ten my friends and I played it everyday for a whole summer changing the rules and making it our Candy Land.

Next are the Gingerbread house that you can eat but look so cute you wish you could shrink your self and climb inside and live there. Just to see if you would like it. We pick a few we all really liked as family.

 

But to top it all off they had the life flight helicopter there for all of us to take a picture in if we wanted. It was there to show that we raised a enough money in Dixie to get but now we are trying to get enough money to keep here.

  Emma was asking the whole time we were there if we could get in to it. I said yes but at the end right before we live. An that what we did, but  we weren't sure if jj wanted to get in till he got just as excited as Emma when we it came are turn to get in. It was better then the funnel cake which they both love to get another traditions we have when go to the jubilee trees.So we are thankful to have fun Family Home Evening to mark the start of time year we try and be more grateful for all we have.

As for our meal of Thanksgiving on Thanksgiving day, well forgot to bring the camera to show all the Bowler and Burton and McFarland getting together.  I do have some great lift over dinner picture here at home of Emma and JJ, enjoying yummy lift overs .

 So as you see it was really good meal good enough to have twice in the same day and for next days lunch. We all loved it and are grateful for the lift overs  of  such a wonderful meal. I think like most of us we eat to much. But I don't think I could very forget that we so much in just having each other are little family of four.

All I ever wanted and all I ever needed......

Everything I am and all the things I have prayer-ed for couldn't hold a candle to what I've been give I've been given what I NEED....
I start with this song from The Forgotten Carols because today I forgot for a few moments all that lord has done for me,or is trying to do for me with the trails I faces now. But also for got all the people he has put in my life given me though marriage to my husband that have made my whole world better.
I start with this Christmas Tree of my Nana she was the one person in this new found family of Bowler and Burton. An she was a star and  would never know it she always made even her big moment about her family. I was a part of that family weather I was blood or not that meant the world to me.

The claim of pure blanket of white. We don't get that in Saint George, not like this. It always remind me that we can always start fresh even from that moment of messy up if we go to are savior with the mistake he can make us white like this Snow.

My Dad, Papa Bart the man who works so hard so we could have so much growing up. But also so much now. We didn't realize all the sleep and time he give up with his wife and us so could live comfortable. Till Kern had to try and work ten and twelve hour days all week but Sunday. Papa your are Hero!

Shoes I never know how cool it is to have so many till my daughter and son would dress up in them. JJ thinks that shoes are toys, he get more use out them then me some days. But him and sister love to put them on and put on a show for on the weekends. JJ also love to help me put them and say go. He is always ready to go anytime of the day!

My Emma the Bella of the Ball she loves to dress up. When we got new cloths she changed her cloth three times a day. She love to be the princess and go first to show JJ the way and to let everyone know she need her space to try and test her wings. She was born to fly and does just fine. Truly an amazing little Daughter Of God!

My Mom she seems like she could take on all the world problems and them all solved by lunch. She so many times just my listening to my boohooing of life. Say how sorry she is and never judge, just prayer always prayers  and has the faith of a Giant. David has nothing on her when it comes to slaying those G laths in life!

My Brothers am so lucky to be in the middle of them all. They are the Sun Shine when there is now. They look up to me. I don't know why when everyday I look up to them. I am running as fast I can to be where they started out in life. If they could only see the amazing power they each had on my life. They would be unstoppable in there own lives!

O, how I love my two little Angels or Hell-yens take your pick they have there days of mass naught moments but I laugh more during those times then I do all week. They love to get in to things together and they love to help me almost to well. We often have more water on the floor then in the sink when doing dishes. An they love to cook with me. But getting to lick the spoon is the best. Can't you tell by those faces!

Daddy and JJ there something about Father and Son.There bond was made before they came here and now that there together again. It has turned in to moment where I hold back tears in how much they love each other. JJ told his daddy 1st that he loved him one night before bed. I had never heard him say that before that night!

 Daddy little girl, my Emma is. She and her dad always find moment to cuddle and he listens as she tells him her good are idea. He lets her know that she is his baby baby.  He helps her see herself as heavenly father see her as his Daughter who he will protect and be there for no matter what happens !

My Aunt Edie has been there to cheer me on from the day she found my mom her best friend. They are sister by spirit and because that she has been the Aunt I prayer  to have all my life never thought I would get. An when I got her so did my whole family. We are blessed to call her are Edie who I know has helped me become a better in ways.

My Parents because of them I have learned to take thing as they come and even if I get one on the chin and it knocks me done not to ever stay done. I get up and fight for what is right and I am who I am because they loved me raised me right. Set the best example they know how. They still teach me by example if I can be as good a parents to my little one as they were to me. May be my little ones and me will do alright together.

I end with this picture of my roses bushes out front. There all gone now but they will return and even if I am not here to enjoy it someone will enjoy them. Just like this online blog for all to know that I lived a happy life and that if learn anything about me. I am not perfect neither is my life. But I know I have been given some perfect moments that have made me in to who I am and what I am becoming. An hopeful ever year when my trails of winter dead down for a time I show off the beautiful spirit heavenly father has given me. For all to see if they will just stop and smell the roses!!

My Miss Emma Rose

My Smart, I will be who I want, do as want little Emma.

She is four going on sixteen some days. 

 One the great love of my life, she came in to my world and it has only gotten better from there.

She always is trying to bring her world of fun and sunshine in to mine. Always letting me know she loves me and wants to do everything with Mom. She love to build tents and make a little bed we can lay on just so we can talk and giggle together. 

She also the best big sister she loves her brother. 

She shows him all the thing so fun and cool to and a lot of what he shouldn't do to. But that is by accident 

because she just trying to have fun being Emma. One of those places

she love to show him is her temple.  

Her favorite thing to show him and everyone who may walk by.  When they have them is her Snap Dragons they are her 

flowers. 

Princess Emma the greatest Daughter of God & Big Sister, 

that could be part of our lives. My days, hours, minutes, seconds, moments shared with her make me a better mom. She teaches me how to be the best I can be everyday.

Family of four

My Family, Kern  Emma Rose, Jeffrey Jensen. They start my day and fill it with laughter and smiles. The family days are Saturday when are JJ wakes up jumping up and down in his crib saying Mommy, Daddy I wake. An are Emma at the same time climbing in are bed. So Kern get are little boy as the girls in the family get comfortable. Then they come in and the tickle and pillow fight starts the morning off with home made sun shine. The I make pancakes or sometimes go out on a family date for breakfast. From there we come home an start sing as we do chores Saturday is a Special  day it's the day we get ready for Sunday we clean the house and we shop at the store and we don't do it again an till Monday.  These are my favorite moments of Saturday morning but the best time we have everyday is the bedtime. We pray as family then I get to pray with each of my children and I get to sing to them and ask them what there favorite part of there day was and what made them sad. An you never know what they are going to say. It a great way end the day positively and learn what i can do better the next for each them.
With my husband I don't sing but just have a quit moment to enjoy adult time and talk is the best moments. An to share what made us smile and laugh that day.  Those are times  I wouldn't trade out my day for the world.
The only thing I would want to change is the size of are family. We aren't complete yet, we just four right now but we will be five in July. An counting, we are planning and hoping for a big family weather we have them are selves or the lord gives them to us though adopting. I know four is just the start.
